I took the same route as last night, with one minor adjustment. Instead of hopping the curb and riding over the grass to shorten my trip and avoid traffic, I rode around the 'longer' way, staying on pavement the whole time. Turns out it's not longer at all, but does involve more direct involvement with possibly dangerous traffic.
I'm preparing for the new road bike.
